Goshogawara Tachi Neputa is a summer festival in Northern Japan where they parade huge floats that are 22 meters/72 feet high. Like its sister festivals – Nebuta of Aomori and Neputa of Hirosaki, Tachi Neputa is a mix of Tanabata and Obon where they celebrate the cosmic union of celestial lovers and the return of ancestral spirits. The festival is usually held around August 4th to the 8th in the evening.
This footage is from 2022 so it was rather short compared to previous festivals due to the recent impact of Covid.

22m tall floats? There must be no wires and no tunnels on the way. It is very impressive.
