on this day we wanted to drive to knoxville to eat Raising Canes chicken. it is on the university campus. after eating the chicken we were walking back to the car and explored a park with a structure called the Sunsphere. I tried to go up the Sunsphere in the elevator but as it turns out, it was closed. This structure was specially constructed for an event held in Knoxville in the ’80s. not really sure what the event was. my understanding is it was a World’s Fair which celebrated architectural, scientific, and technological advancements. 2025’s fair will be held in Osaka, which is in Japan.
