Usually how much is a Yukata cost (average)?
Oh my god I don’t think there is a way to enjoy Japan in summer. I was just there early July it was really terrible. People in Tokyo didn’t seem to be hot while I was sweating buckets. Lol
I'll be in Tokyo next week, hoping it will not be as hot as it expected. I hate summer LOL
Has anybody in public ever recognized you from your channel?
Edit: 7:49 So. Flipping. Cute!!
Hi there! We’re planning on going for a trip in Dec/Jan, and we’re wondering how hard it is to find hotels available around that time? (This includes capsule/business etc we’re not fussy)
People have told me you need to book far in advance around that time but we want the freedom to go where we want any time.
Thanks 🙂
Thank you so much for putting this together 😄 I visited Japan in May and I miss it so much…….watching your videos help 😄
more japanese should wear sunglasses to protect eyes in summer
Hi Kenchan-san, very good and informative video. We’re coming over to Japan in early September. Typically, how hot is it there that time of year?
Thank you for putting together informative content 😊 I have been enjoying your videos as I research for an upcoming trip from Australia, I have visited before only in winter and am looking forward to experiencing the late summer culture in Tokyo! 😊
Very good informative videos in this channel. Thank you. How is the weather on late September? I am gonna be there and hopefuly it will be still warm.
You’re so handsome 🥰
Salutations Kengo.
Many thanks for your videos. Our family has been learning from your videos. We are set to arrive next month for 2 weeks. Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka,Nara Hiroshima, Kobe. Your content has been most informative. Looking forward to the shopping !!!! Any advice on shopping? We plan to carry our passports for tax savings.
Love from Canada. 🇨🇦
So nice to see your summer in Tokyo video. I can't bear the strong heat and humidity and the crowd, so will avoid summer in Japan. I traveled to Japan in Oct and March. I hope to visit again in May, after the Golden Week of course.
Do you know of any website that show all dates/locations of local festivals (for foreigners)? Thanks Kengo.
loved this ken!!!
Thank you as always Kenchan, really great video! I think a lot of these options would be great for all times of the year (maybe not the shaved ice during winter!).
Hello Kengo san, when does it start to cool down, hoping it is in early September for our holiday. Arigato
Lovely video! Shaved iced Udon?! Excellent idea to try!! Together with my favourite dish, unagi.. I'll be visiting Tokyo Tower by night too, as one of the hotels I will be staying in will be near it at Hamamatsucho.. Love the line dancing!!
🙂
Thanks for another great video Kengo. I like the suggestions that you give, but for me, Tokyo is about discovering and walking a lot, and not about beach or pool time. So I think I will prefer to continue to visit in spring or autumn. Although it would be great to experience a festival, and I believe they mostly are in summer.
Informative as always, I like that you are showing Japan which is a bit outside of so called "official" scope
Thank you for another great video. I was nervous about going to Japan in the summer because of the heat, but the tips you shared make traveling in Japan during summer fun!
Thanks for sharing ways of enjoying visiting Tokyo in the summer!
That Strawberry Shaved Ice look refreshing! Best part of this video is Kengo san dancing. 👍
Lovely video and informative as always. I would love to browse the little shops and dance in the festivals but I can't cope with the heat and humidity. So I prefer to view Sakura or Momiji.
Thank you for this wonderful educational video. I am visiting Tokyo for the first time tomorrow during Summer 😁and i would love to experience the wonderful culture there in Summer!!! So excited!!! 😝
