In late March 2023, I have visited a onsen town near to Aomori station – Asamushi Onsen. It took around 20 minutes to reach this place from Aomori station by train.
After around a week traveling around Tohoku, it is never a bad idea to relax in a nice hot spring.
This is a wonderful little town and not commercialised compared to other onsen town. A homey place I could really rest a little and walk around the local area.
The hotel I am staying was awesome. The staff are really nice. The lovely old staff who show us around the hotel area and served us the meal is really energetic and warm.
A must visit place if you travel around Aomori area!
