Keisei Hikifune Station (京成曳舟駅, Keisei-Hikifune-eki) is a railway station on the Keisei Oshiage Line in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Keisei Electric Railway.
Sumida (墨田区, Sumida-ku) is a special ward in the Tokyo Metropolis in Japan. The English translation of its Japanese self-designation is Sumida City.
As of 1 March 2023, the ward has an estimated population of 277,058 and a population density of 20,120 persons per km2. Its total area is 13.77 km2.
Sumida’s city office is located in Azumabashi, while its commercial centre is the area around Kinshicho Station in the south.
The Keisei Oshiage Line (京成押上線, Keisei-Oshiage-sen) is a railway line in Tokyo, Japan, operated by private railway company Keisei Electric Railway. It connects Oshiage Station in Sumida and Aoto Station in Katsushika.
The Oshiage Line passes through areas typical of Tokyo’s shitamachi (“down town”) working-class sections known for their distinctively earthy atmosphere.
