   We loved Okinawa! We lived there twice – once for four years and once for three years. The Okinawans are absolutely wonderfully hospitable and courteous. We have been forever impacted by our time living there. We miss it so much.

   Hey we have Potama in Hawaii! It's located in the Waikiki Food Hall located in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center! But I definitely want to check out Okinawa sometime! Fun video!

Thank you, Shinichi and Satoshi.💙💙 Okinawa is so beautiful, hospitable, and intriguing. If I were able to visit, I feel as though I'd be both revisiting Hawaii and seeing Japanese culture first-hand. Your obvious enjoyment each time you visit Okinawa says it all. Thank you for taking us with you!

    I m from Okinawa, been to Guam, Hawaii and other places in the world. If you are in Japan, it’s only 12000 yen round trip from Osaka or Tokyo by low cost carriers and double of that by ANA and JAL which is still 100$ one way, still cheap. so it’s worth it but if you are coming from Guam, spending 1000 usd just go to this island, not sure. Guam looks a lot like northern, countryside Okinawa. As for Hawaiians, if you have families, why not. It’s 1/3 of how much it costs in hawaii, it’s worth it but of course you should visit the mainland Japan just get an idea of what Japan should be.😂 if you are from Europe, probably skip Okinawa and go to Bali or Cebu. The only problem of Okinawa is heavy traffic, how popular it is (too many Japanese tourists, artificial beaches, everything is manmade, streets that are too small, OVER populated, air pollution compared to other Ryukyuan islands) and no good public transit system but it’s probably the same every tropical island.

    I personally think Okinawa is a must visit in Japan, I would put it at # 2 behind Kyoto as # 1 for places to see in Japan

    After the war and during 60-70s spam was the cheapest meat you could buy. It was meant to be that as made from random off cuts. Now here in britain it is about £3.50 a can. I can no longer afford to buy it. Same with corned beef. Shame that corporate greed is now so evident that they rip you off for the cheapest ingredients. Also baked beans here in uk are ludicrously priced heinz beans cost £1.75 whereas brands like corale are only 0.55 p and with a bit of extra salt and butter are just as good.

    YES ! Definitely worth a visit to Okinawa !!
    Every place there is so clean and I love all the cafe's and places for Light meals.
    That Lobster looks familiar … Oh yeah its Canadian that's why ☺
