Hishima is an island located about 18km offshore from Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture, Japan.
Generally, the two islands of Ohbishima and Kobishima are collectively called Hishima. About 150 people live on the islands. The distance between Ohbishima and Kobishima is about 1 km.

In the past, a shoal(sand bar) extended from Ohbishima toward Kobishima, and was said to be a bridge connecting Ohbishima and Kobishima. However, it is no longer possible to see it due to changes in the tide.

    かつては、大飛島から、砂洲が小飛島に向かって延び、大飛島と小飛島を結ぶ架け橋ともいわれていました。
    しかし潮流の変化の影響などから現在では見ることができなくなっています。　空から見るとその面影は残っていました🥷💞
