  1. Marissa I just love everytime you leave on travel day you give your mom a love. Brings memories to me I lost my mom a few years back and we always did same thing.

  2. I just thought of something for the cabinets, maybe something like bungee cords or kids' safety locks or a refrigerator lock for the cabinets.
    Just a thought. ❤

  3. Wow! I think my condo is level. 🤔 Need to put that on my check list…😉😂 You guys are awesome! Love from 🇨🇦

  4. Maybe setup a camera in your 5th wheel to see what’s going on while you travel. It seems it takes a lot longer to setup 5th wheels, trailers than our Class A. It takes me literally 5 minutes to auto level, extend the slides, hook up water and electric – that’s all there is.

  5. This was right on time guys. I was just talking to my wife today about needing some check lists for the RV as we plan on going full time in the fall. Now if you could do a set up checklist next week that would complete the circle. As always guys keep the good stuff coming and give the kids a hug for me.

  6. I got some small carabiners for our sewer hose doors, they are cheap and they work great. And, I installed a second sewer hose holder (thanks for the idea Chad), so I can carry 40' of hose. When flushing the black tank, I close the black valve too. I got a water flow meter ($15 to $20 on Amazon) so I know exactly how much water I have added. When I get to 15 gallons, I pull the black tank, let it flush. Then reset the meter, close the black tank and repeat the process. Having been fulltime for over 7 years now, we know that Sunday is black tank day. That is way more dependable than using the tank level meters. We have not used chemicals in our tanks for over 6 years. We do not smell anything in our RV…. we asked friends if they don't smell anything either. But then again, all of our friends are old, so their noses may not work very well.

  7. Thank you, Nate and Marissa. This is one of the most informative blogs that I can recall. Any credible reminder about “to do” lists beginning several days before departure. Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. You both the best. Blessings to you all and safe travels.

  8. Ohh my casino queen rv park. How was that? I live 45 miles outside St Louis and get nervous parking in the casino to ride the metro link across to a Cardinals or Blues game let alone staying there overnight. And yeh 64 through there is worse than 10. 64 is a major earthquake.

  9. I love the “it’s all part of the journey” moment in the truck 😂😂. Amanda now says that to me every time I am super irritated with travel day / leveling issues and I feel how Nathan felt lol.

  10. I began a checklist several years ago because . . . pilots use them. Outside: antenna, jacks, water-sewer-electric connection. Just the beginning . . . you know the drill.

  11. Alot more to living in a RV than meets the eye, but all worth it making lots of memories and getting to visit and see great places. ❤️🇬🇧

  12. Where were you staying with the arch in the background. I live 30 miles south of the arch.

  13. I have a 9-page list and it's laminated. Setup & breakdown for inside & outside. It has step by step how to hook-up electric, how to use the stabilizers and hooking-up & using the air pump to fill tires & airbags. If one of us got hurt/sick and you're upset, I feel this will help to not miss something important. I don't trust relying on my phone, use walkies for the same reason. Good video for everyone to see how important the 'list' is. Thanks

  14. All of the preparation to roll seems very complicated, but keeping a house/yard/vehicle prepared for everyday life is also complicated when you make the effort to put together a check list. It's about perspective and also desire I suppose. Like
" what do you want to make work for you in life?"

  15. Would you happen to have a link to the kitchen cabinet baskets in this video please. Thanks

  16. Great job….though I was a bit tired listening to your list!! Wow. I tend to go for the broad strokes…but then again we aren’t full timing. So not sure if that means I really should start to be more detailed or not since we have gaps between trips. Time will tell. One suggestion…You really should pick up a LevelMate Pro. That way you can glance at the app and see how far out level you are before your start. Then you can decide if the ramps or blocks are needed before you start. Keep up the great content. We look forward to it each week.

  17. I thought sanitize was to sanitize your fresh water tank. Our black tank flush has no setting other than to turn the water on after connecting the hose.

  18. Love this video! Here’s my question: what is in that spray bottle on the basement door and how does it stay attached?
