  1. $1600 for all that it included sounds like a deal! Great detailed travel information video. You do a great job, as always, at sharing how you do logistics, planning, and getting the most bang for the buck! And i gotta give props to your "Slay-vers" tshirt, it's one of my favs, i would wear that πŸ˜‰πŸ‘!

  2. Misty! Wow, that was super helpful! THANK YOU! I'm planning to go there in fall 2024. I know, busy season as you mentioned, but I don't care to travel in summer (busy HNL airport, heat). Good to know you can use ATM's there as well. My one big concern is that I often hear about pick-pocketing in the city. I'm guessing you didn't experience anything, but did you see anything or know of someone who was a victim? Someone told me not to hold your phone out in a crowded area because people whizz by on scooters and just grab the phone from your hand!

  3. I always liked this home setting videos plus I like Q&A and talk story kine videos from you. 🌺. Good info about booking directly rather than using a travel website for hotel, airfare, etc.

  4. Awesome!!! And yes the Dong is quite confusing becauze there is so much zeroes so I always had my friend make sure I gave and was given the right amount. And JAL is the best. And you are right, if you could book directly with out a 3rd party please do. I made the mistake of going to Haneda instead of my scheduled flight at Narita and JAL told me if I booked with them, I could have switched with them. Lots of good pointers. Also if you beg them like me and be nice, you might get your Visa within 8 hours. So funny when you said double pane sound proof glass. Last time I heard someone say that was Jim Carrey( Ace Ventura) when he solved the case and said it was a murder instead of a suicide in the apt. Lol. Not sure if you saw that movie. Good advice Misty!

  5. Great info. Thanks so much for providing all this information. You basically acted like a travel agent, but for free! Can't wait to see where you go next year.

  6. You are correct on picking the right airline. Korean Air is pretty good and less problematic. Lots of great info in this vlogπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ

  7. Misty: A wonderful, carefully organized Q&A presentation on traveling to Vietnam and Hanoi in particular.
Your "food" vlogs are: entertaining, informative and "fun".
I especially liked this because it was like a (travel) college lecture πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

  8. I usually travel to VN in October through November much cooler weather, and airfare around $750 on Asiana. Staying with relatives, glad you had a good time there.

  9. Wow, as usual another comprehensive and complete video. The detail is so helpful in planning. You really know how to travel on a budget and yet experience luxury at the same time. I can't believe how much detail you packed into this video. Well done!

  10. Super helpful, thanks!…especially the Immigration info and Klook site. We live on Oahu and are going to Hanoi in November. We love all of your foodie vids!

  11. That was really informative and full of helpful tips. A vacation in Vietnam seems like a deal. You should be a travel agent!

  12. Thank you for the excellent information. I will be transiting through Singapore and wanted to bring some of the airport sold beef jerky, but now I’m wondering if it will be allowed in the US. I’m thinking not. πŸ™

  13. Aloha Misty!! This is definitely a great bonus share!! The overall trip cost (airfare and hotel) was a really good deal esp for just over a week. We literally cannot believe the cost of your hotel…$27 a night??!?! It looked like a pretty nice room and sounds like a great location. The breakdown of your trip was really informative. That was interesting about the meat products…like jerky…$10K fine…WOW!! We had no idea. As always another great video!! πŸ€™

  14. Thanks for sharing your experience with us Misty! You give some great tips and advice when traveling! Appreciate you!πŸ€™πŸΌ
