solo travelling Japan as a girl…🧍🏻‍♀️

There’s different types of night busses and I think I took the cheapest one with 4 seats in a row, by Willer Express.

It cost me ¥6990 to get from Tokyo (Ikebukuro, Sunshine City Bus Terminal) at 21:50, to Osaka (Tennoji Park) at 7:15, which is the standard schedule!

I’d probably never take the night bus in any other country (maybe China), but it felt very safe because nobody gets out of their seat unless it’s a break time.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Would you ever take the night bus? Or would you just pay the little bit extra to be more comfy and save time?

  1. Women only seating? I love how Japan has that and pregnant women wearing on trains and stuff. I wish we had that in America! It would help me feel much safer on public transport

  2. I was a poor exchange student when I went on a night bus, and I got the cheapest one, so I got NO sleep since there wasn’t any leg room. The one you got looks amazing though. The day bus I went on before was similar to it.
