Palm Springs, California is a popular weekend getaway for people all over California, especially Los Angeles and San Diego.
Palm Springs is famous for its epic pool parties and boozy brunches, but I came here to try out the best places to eat!
I know with all the celebrities coming through Palm Springs on a regular basis, there had to be a great food scene here; and thankfully, I was right!
I wonder if people who come to the Coachella Festival ever stop in Palm Springs to try some of these best restaurants, but this is where I would come!

Here are the 5 Must-Try Restaurants in Palm Springs, California featured in this video:

Cheeky’s Brunch – The bacon flight is reason enough to come have brunch here while in Palm Springs, but the bloody mary and breakfast food selection is delicious as well.

Sherman’s Deli and Bakery – A Palm Springs institution, Sherman’s serves up incredible cakes, pastries, and these massive Ruben and pastrami sandwiches (and more).

The HeyDay – The most delicious California-style smashed burgers are tucked away in the Hilton Hotel where Brad and his team are making a name for themselves.

Shield’s Date Garden – Everyone told me that if I come to Palm Springs I had to try a signature Date Shake, and for this I went straight to the source at Shield’s Date Garden in nearby Indio, California.

Rooster and the Pig – This stylish Vietnamese restaurant is a local favorite; literally everyone I talked to who lives in Palm Springs told me I had to come here. I did. They were right. You should too.

  1. Iโ€™ve lived in the desert for 13 years. The only place I agree with you on is rooster and the pig. The only problem is that the prices have become so high that itโ€™s mostly unaffordable for the locals anymore.

  2. I loved your video. All the restaurants you visited will be on my list. I have never been to Palm Springs but I will be going within the next 6 months. Can hardly wait.

  3. Ahh how you have me missing Palm Springs! My grandpa retired back in the 80โ€™s and moved there and I spent what seems like every holiday and summer in the 90โ€™s/early 2000โ€™s visiting him from the Bay Area and I remember like it was yesterday. He had a gigantic house with a pool and I always looked forward to seeing him and swimming even during Christmas cause it was still rather warm. I havenโ€™t been since he passed in 2003 and this has me thinking about visiting for memories and for food. Thanks for this Gareth!

  4. I went to Shermanโ€™s this past September and I was very impressed by the food and service. Definitely recommend! I stayed at the Hilton and also had the Heyday.

  5. I see you rode past my dads house on the right of the screen

  6. Shermanโ€™s should not be on your list. My experience on the food and service was so bad that i will not return and advise others to avoid. They played to the camera as their sandwiches are not that stacked with meat or aa tasty aa you claim. Give honest reviews or cut them out of your video

  7. Yo thanks for the heyday recommendation hard to find smashburger spots in general.

  8. I hate palm springs. It's a cool place if you have never lived there and than only to visit, briefly. Living there sucks massive balls. Oh, the hiking trails though= totally bomb. It's the only thing about the place that's cool. Also, Palm Desert is probably nicer and cooler than PS. Same with Rancho Mirage, that's a quaint lil place and you have some nice trails by there too. I lived there for 10 years and the shitty beaners and tweakers and homeless losers really detract from how nice it would be without them. Thanks for the vid though.

  9. Great video ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Canโ€™t wait to go get out there and check out the newest 6 Triple-D places in Palm Springs

  10. ALL I CAN IMAGINE IS THAT PALM SPRINGS POOP-KNIFE TURD! I BET MARILYN USED A POOP KNIFE! GREAT VIDEO THO! ๐Ÿ’ฉ ๐Ÿ”ช

  11. PalmSprings been there many times, I will try Rooster and the pig . Also many ice cream yogurt places imitate date shake except the one in Indio.๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
