Today’s Japan Walking Tour is the Honmura area of Naoshima, Kagawa.
Naoshima is famous as an island of art, but the Honmura area that I walked this time is an area where classical wooden houses are lined up.
The “Art House Project”, which is being developed by renovating an old private house in a nostalgic village, includes ANDO MUSEUM by world-famous architect Tadao Ando, who built the Chichu Art Museum in Naoshima.
Tourists visiting the Benesse Art Site were walking around the village.
