One of the reasons for traveling to Hokkaido was to see the cherry blossoms in bloom during the end of spring when we were visiting. The Nikka Whiskey Distillery in Yoichi being nearby was another reason to start off our visit here in Otaru. Overall Otaru was very cool this time of year making it easy to walk around. I loved the vibe of how quiet and secluded this place was.
