Osaka Japan Cost Of Living Grocery Haul

Join me in this Osaka Japan cost of living grocery haul. I will bring you along as we go to Mega Don Quijote (Mega Donki) and get all the essentials for the next couple days of eating at our AirBnb. Osaka is a bit different than Tokyo but the grocery stores are pretty much the same.

  1. Wow, i say overall grocery prices in Osaka are a lot cheaper than the US midwest. Eggs are now about 2.98 for 12. The Kit Kat in a Japanese grocery store in chicago suburb is 7.99 a bag. Even the Johnsonville sausage is good price too. Eye opening video. Thank you Allie and Rob.

  2. Loving this Japan series. We’ll be there for about 3 weeks in Fall of 2024 for my husband’s 60th birthday. We expected things would be a little pricier since many are imported. Good to know there are reasonable prices to be had. Living amongst the locals is the best way to enjoy a new country/culture, etc.

  3. It appeared some of the cooked food was just at room temp in store. If so I'd be concerned about eating it.
