  1. I was so close to visiting and working in Japan at one point. I'm a Motion Capture performer and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit Japan. Great video, best of luck on your travels.

  2. That wasn't Yoyogi Park. That was Meiji Jingu shrine. Yoyogi Park is next to Meiji shrine. Where you entered to go to the shrine, you went to the right. If you had gone left, away from the shrine, you would've gone into Yoyogi Park. You totally missed the park entirely🤦
And I just entered Yoyogi Park on Google maps and it clearly shows you it's to the left. Once you go over the bridge next to Harajuku station, you go left LEFT!! 😢😢😢

  3. I was taught at a young age that if you show a picture of the new buds of sakura, sakura in full bloom and the sparse trees after most sakura petals have fallen, most japanese will choose the first or last picture as the most beautiful. They depict the hope of new beginnings or a beautiful fulfilling life, so even though you didn't get to see the sakura in full bloom, you were there at a beautiful and hopeful time of flower viewing! Thank you for sharing your trip!

  4. People around the world say that Japan, where I live, has arrived on a different planet. It is also said from the same Asian countries. I think it's confusing if the culture is different, but it was good if you enjoyed it.
