Iju district is located in Nakagusuku village, and its a very old and historic area since Ryukyu Kingdom era.
There is the “Yumuchi tun” in the are that is a very sacred spot for people praying and an old stone monument is standing.
Also there is a house which is a descendant family of Oniufugushiku Kenyu who is a famous hero of Ryukyu era.

I miss beautiful Okinawa very much. My ancestor on my mother's side was Gosamaru, lord of Nakagusuku Castle.
