1963年の完成から今年で60年を迎えた黒部ダム（富山県立山町）で26日、観光放水が始まった。高さ186mのダム壁面の放水口から毎秒15トンの水が噴き出すと、虹が出現した。訪れた人たちはスマートフォンで写真を撮るなど、その迫力を間近で楽しんでいた。

Kurobe dam releases torrent of water signaling start of area’s tourist season
Video footage taken on June 26 shows Kurobe Dam, located in Tateyama, Toyama Prefecture, opening its floodgates and releasing a torrent of water for the admiration of tourists. A rate of 15 tons of water per second was released from the 186-meter-tall structure, in an event held every year as an attraction to bring tourists to the Kurobe Valley and its environs.
