The Japanese road laws are fairly laxed over there, you got bosozoku raising a ruckus, race car Tokyo drifters, distracted phone zombies and even dumped mangas on the roads.
Rebellion against an oppressive society riddled with depression and hopelessness.
Yeah the police just do hold up the road laws here correctly unless it’s drugs or violence. Pisses me off too cause I can’t drive my car after 10pm cause the exhaust is loud to the wife totally shaken legal under the night time dp limit yet these guys don’t get arrested or fined.
They were seeking donations to the Police Department!
Our cast of 60 or so stayed in a nice hotel in Shin Osaka…..these guys came by often at night….we bombed them with water balloons from the upper terraces….a good time was had by all !!
Maybe you should let Yokozuna Terunofuji handle these guys and straighten them out😊😀
Yeah they ARE a pain in the arse. I think if something was to happen to one of them…. it would be interesting to find out the outcome…😤😤😤

I'd be interested to learn more about bosozoku, how do those groups work what kind of people are they and how do they integrate into society?
Police don’t do anything because that’s work. They only want slam dunk cases that involve very little work. Or if they can bully people into submission and confessions, that’s the extent of police work in Japan
I've never heard of that before, that's interesting and I suppose really annoying at times, lol. I'll check out your links for more info on bosozoku.
If the police are afraid of them, then doesnt that hint at some kind of violent criminal gang culture behind the bosozoku? I'm really coming at this topic completely blank so im just thinking out loud here.
Harley guys are the Bosozoku of north America, seem to get away with whatever , straight pipes, roaring around to impress people and make themselves feel cool, right up their with the no exhaust pickup truck guys. A Canadian police officer once told me that they just don't want to deal with the Harley guys, their going to be confrontational etc so straight pipe exhaust it is! (loud pipes save lives after all, Bosozoku seem to live by that mantra)
