名古屋市熱田区の神宮前商店街(熱田区神宮町)を歩いてきました。年間800万人が参拝に訪れる熱田神宮の真ん前にあるにもかかわらずかなり寂しい状態。名古屋のシャッター街と言えば必ず話題に出る商店街です。 ★寂しい街、商店街を歩くシリーズ ►
私は下町生まれの下町育ちで親が商店を営んでいた事もあり、小さい頃の遊び場は市場や商店街でした。大型モールや少子高齢化により私の小さな頃と今とではかなり変わってしまいましたが今でも私は商店街が好きです。そして昭和の匂いのする街が大好きです。
栄枯盛衰、商店街は全国的にいわゆるシャッター街が増えておりこのままでは廃墟化してしまうかもしれません。ガラッと変わるのは好きではありませんが静かなる復活を期待しつつ残されている街を自分の目で確かめアーカイブしておきたくなり動画を撮影・アップしました。
