Testing the TTArtisan 50mm f/1.4 and 90mm f/1.25 Lenses on a m-mount camera

In this video, I test out two amazing lenses from TTArtisan: the 50mm f/1.4 and the 90mm f/1.25, both in m-mount. I use them on my Bessa R2, a compact and affordable rangefinder camera, and shoot a roll of Ilford Delta 100, a fine-grained black and white film. I explore the beautiful city of Bath, which is full of historical and architectural wonders, and capture some street scenes and portraits in the bright sunlight. Watch the video to see how these lenses perform and what kind of images they produce.

  1. I liked the photos. They had a very light airy feel to them and conveyed the sense of heat very well. The TT Artisan 50mm is a very decent lens, and a bargain considering the Leica M mount lenses. The 90, as you have found out, is just too big to be mounted on a traditional range finder. I think they design these ' fat ' lenses with the digital and the use of Live View in mind, as they block your view and the patch at the same time.
