OUR EXPERIENCE
Kyoto, Japan, is a city that is filled with traditional charm and is the epi-center of some of the most famous, must-visit spots.

Musashi Sushi is one of the best conveyor belt sushi spots in town with affordable prices and a relaxed vibe. I recommend coming here for lunch or dinner, and trying out some fun dishes like extra fatty bonito (raw tuna).

Ryoma-Dori Street is a vibrant street that really comes to life at night but is extra mellow in the daytime. It’s the modern side of Kyoto and is super beautiful with the canals that run through it and shady trees. Lined with trendy shops, cafes, and boutiques, this street is perfect for indulging in some retail therapy or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll.

We visited the MOST historical street in Kyoto Japan known as Hanamikoji Street. This is in the heart of the Gion District in Kyoto Japan and is known as Kyoto’s Geisha District.

Immerse yourself in the captivating world of geisha culture in Gion. Kyoto is known for its geishas, and you can learn about their traditions, witness mesmerizing performances, and even spot geishas in the enchanting streets of Gion, Kyoto’s famous geisha district.

For a serene and spiritual experience, visit a local Kyoto temple, by just ducking into one of the thousands spots scattered throughout this ancient city. These tranquil havens offer a glimpse into Japan’s rich religious heritage and provide a serene escape from the bustling city.

We visited Kennin-ji Temple, which offering a serene ambiance and stunning Zen gardens. Marvel at the exquisite architecture and immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere, perfect for meditation and reflection.

Explore the sacred Yasui Kompira-gΕ« Shrine, known for its unique “wish-fulfilling stone.” Visitors can participate in the ancient ritual of crawling through a stone arch to cleanse their souls and make their wishes come true. Such a fun spot!
