Fukui Prefecture (福井県) is a prefecture of Japan located on the coast of the Sea of Honshu island. The capital is the city of Fukui. Among its most famous tourist attractions are Eiheiji Temple and the Fukui Dinosaur Museum, Japan’s best museum of its kind. Prefectural capital is Fukui City. There are many local cuisine and gourmet restaurants in the prefecture.
