I drove around Muroran City, Hokkaido.
Starting from Higashimachi near Higashi-Muroran Station, I circled clockwise around Muroran Port and finished at Higashi-Muroran Station.
I passed through Chuo-cho arcade street, which can be called the old town near Muroran Station, Shiratori Bridge, the largest suspension bridge in eastern Japan, a petrochemical complex by the sea, and Nakajima-cho, the current commercial center of Muroran.

It's very lovely geography for a city. It could be a beautiful ocean side city like San Francisco or Seattle if the economy wasn't terrible. With global warming Japanese will return in the next decades.
