  1. I used to live in Yokosuka and I never visited the amusement park/ramen museum! Well…. now I know where to go if we ever get to move back to Japan

  2. I'm sorry, the trivia about Emu-Emu San is incorrect; They are a duck-mochi-cat-angel in my head-cannon for all time and eternity. Thank you for that, Martina; sincerely. <3

  3. I knew about the cup noodle museum and being able to custom make your own instant ramen, but I didn't know the cup noodle got its own protective bubble suit?!

  4. I have great memories of going to Oktoberfest in that Red Brick Warehouse event space! Thank you for this video Martina!

  5. Love this! Definitely saving this so I can go if I ever visit Japan. If I could request, could you explore some stores that have inclusive sizes (as in bigger sizes) for women? Are there any in Japan?

  6. When exiting Queens Square there is an amazing little coffee shop called Minato Coffee! Please go there for delicious coffee, soft serve ice cream, and such a beautiful interaction with the staff!! 3:04

Also love your videos! Thank you for showing my favorite city😍

  7. Your travel advice is always so valuable! Speaking of travel gear, have you heard about the new V4 of the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane? It's making waves in the travel community, and I thought you might find it interesting for your future trips.

  8. We spent part of the day in Yokohama in Chinatown for a full-blown parade with dragon dances, drums, performances, fireworks, musicians, princesses – we were so lucky to catch it! The weather was great and we ended up eating on a side street near a temple. We incidentally found a Yayoi Kusama exhibit in a local gallery just by walking in the streets and noticing a poster – that was also a find as you need to book the Kusama Museum waaaay in advance (which we also did!!), you can't just walk in off the street. BTW malasadas are Portuguese (not Hawaiian) but Leonards are a staple in Hawaii, I've noticed many a Japanese tourist who purchase their one malasada just to Instagram the moment (haha).

  9. 3:37 someone is screaming in the background and it gets louder as the bird flies closer making it look like the bird is screaming by and it made me giggle

  10. Seeing you live your best life makes me so happy Martina!!! 💖✨🌈 Thank you for this wonderfully relaxing video. It filled me with so much peace and I hope I’ll get to see these places myself one day.

  11. 6:12 Matrix glitch 💻

(a belated thank you from a longtime Nasty)
Saw you on your SF tour, got VIP tickets, but TOOtoo shy to meet you in person. It truly made my day just to have seen everyone then 😊

  12. Thank you for introducing me to my hometown, Yokohama. My recommendation is the night view of Yokohama. The night view from the Red Brick Warehouse and Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal is wonderful! Go to the terminal if you can! Although the wharf is designed for sightseeing, it gives the illusion of being on a large passenger ship and looking at the scenery. Very romantic. Especially if you go with your lover!
It is also close to Kamakura (30 minutes by train from Kamakura to Yokohama), so my recommendation is to book a hotel in Yokohama, go to Kamakura first, enjoy a walk until evening, and then return to Yokohama to enjoy the night view. This is because the shops in Kamakura close at 5pm (the temples are supposed to close at 5pm). And finally, ride the Cosmo Clock (Ferris wheel)! That's it!

  13. I have been to the ramen museum. Although it was nice, back then it was quite crowded and I feel it didn't worth the entrance fee. Because I could only eat at two shops at most. This ramen food court looked like a better option. I will use this video next time I am in Japan.

  14. Hey Martina! how about a challenge? find a public space you can spend the whole day in and will accommodate all your needs 😊

  15. i have gerd and i find cold brew still too acidic for me. so i turn to tea when i do want some caffeine, and to decaf coffee when i want that bitter coffee taste 😭 anyway I've been to Japan twice but i've never been to Yokohama. maybe next time!

  16. Martina, you look like you are living well and truly loving/being refreshed by life. I have been watching your content for many years and am so so happy for you as a fellow zebra. May your days be full of light! ❤

  17. Great video, as always it's so much fun watching your adventures. Mark is…maybe they wanted to say marquee or marquise but thought of a simpler way to pronounce it?

  18. I've always somehow managed to miss going to vist Yokohama when in Tokyo, after watching this video you've definitely made me put visiting here top of the list next time I go!

  19. Thank you Martina! i will definitely go check out these places when i go to Japan in August 😄

  20. Hi Martina! It's so awesome to see a fellow zebra warrior living their best life! If I may ask, where'd you get your corset/vest/back support from? I've got spinal issues too, and it looks like it'd be a super comfy way to help with the back pain.

  21. She is correct. I absolutely am. I just AM. I’m also all the things she mentioned. Especially the ballerina, though I’m not really good at it.

  22. Thank you so much for this one! My whole family and I will be staying in Tokyo on their first night in Japan, ever. This gave me great ideas to show them around, and I think they will particularly love the craft beer at Hammerhead 7/11 and getting to see the bay at night.

  23. I stayed in Yokohama for one night a few weeks back (in the brand new Mitsui Garden Hotel and I had a view of both Fuji and the Tokyo skyline) and I loved it. Plus my name is Mark and so Mark is was quite literally all the LOLZ. Went out for a really amazing izakaya dinner we stumbled on and I had tiny tiny baby crabs that were absolutely delicious. Shopping near the main Yokohama station was excellent too. Seemed like a good place to stay to go to Kamakura and some parts of Tokyo.

  24. I have such good memories of Yokohama – planning to go back when I am back in Japan, this time to visit the FAMED (in my head at least) Scotland themed Izakaya 🥃 !! Thank you so much for this video; so many spots to save on my list!! .)

  25. This was such a deligtful video to start my Monday morning with! It is so wonderful to see you thriving. The passion and care you put into your content is so evident. Thank you for sharing with us and I'm wishing you all good things!

  26. I would love to go to Yokohama. It seams so chill and fresh compare to big city Tokyo. Also, i don't know if they still do the Pikachu festival ❤️😭 It's my dream to be there during this time even if it will be probably crowded. Also, I discovered this city through the JDrama "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu". There is Gen Hoshino in this drama and the ending music is Koi from him. The Jdrama takes place in Yokohama. I love it 😁

  27. After watching you since the early days, I finally visited a place you made a video on!! Was just in Yokohama two weeks ago!

So cool seeing all the places we visited in your video and wish I would have known about the 69 floor viewing tower 😅

I can't wait to go back to Japan!

    Thanks for the video Martina!❤

  28. I had been out of the loop with your channel for a while, and it’s great to see you again having fun and being your gorgeous sunshine self 🌈✨

  29. I did 2.5 weeks in Japan in May and based myself out of Yokohama. It is a wonderful place to see and do things as well as take trains to Tokyo and other parts of Japan from Shin-Yokohama station.

  30. I'm a bit tired of the travel guide type of videos. Please more cooking or normal vlog type videos! 😀 I really appreciate the work you put in these videos though. The quality is really good!

  31. Love your videos Martina ❤️ so wholesome, fun and just full of positive vibes.

I’ve made a habit of cooking breakfast while watching them 😊 best part of my mornings .

  32. Always the best filming, especially the b-rolls, the slo-mo, the this , the that…oh what….everything is awesome 😍🤩😊😁
