I spent 7 nights and 8 days in Toyama and Ishikawa prefectures!
On the third day, I went to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route to enjoy the spectacular view above the clouds.

Hey hi! Amazing video thanks so much! Am just wondering.. did you do a 1 day round trio from kanazawa? I’d like to get your help in making my itinerary! I have a hard time making it myself!
I am planning to go from kanazawa station -> toyama station -> tateyama station -> alpine route to Murodo -> hike to the peak -> back to kanazawa station.
Is this itinerary possible for one day? And is there any round trip way from Murodo back to the tateyama station and kanaza?
How long do you think it will take for me to do this… and is it possible for us to stay longer at the peak of mount tateyama befoee heading down Murodo back to kanazawa?

Thank you for making this video. I am so glad to come across your video. I am planning a summer vacation in Japan for my family. This is exactly what I needed. May I know if I need to arrange rental car in advance or I can get a car to rent on the spot ? I plan to be there on June 30 or July 1. Another thing, I would appreciate if you can share the name of the hotel in the beginning ? What is the typical temperature in this part of Japan in June and July ? Thank you very much again.
I will visit next month. You video is very helpful. Which hiking path did you take in Murodo and how many hours ? Between stopping at Migadahara and going to Shomyo falls which one should I choose ? Thank you.
Thank you for making this video and some useful tips. We are thinking of going to Kurobe Alpine Route from Nagoya by train. Any advice?
Fantastic video! The waterfall was powerful
Thank you for this video! I’m thinking of visiting ice wall and staying a night at the alpine lodge so that I have time to look around as what u did. As a foreigner, would it be easy to walk around the mountains and not getting lost plus is the ice wall still available for viewing in October/autumn 2023?
