It’s another beautiful day in Tokyo, and we’re taking you on a sky-high adventure in this vlog.
In today’s video, we’re conquering the world’s tallest tower, the Tokyo Skytree! 🌆 Our second day in Tokyo was filled with new experiences, mouth-watering local cuisine, and breathtaking views.
After a short train ride 🚉, we kick off our journey at the Skytree, where we venture up to the observation deck and the Galleria, 350 and 450 meters high respectively. You won’t believe how the city of Tokyo looks from this height – it’s almost surreal!
At the Skytree, we couldn’t just settle for the observation deck. We pushed our limits and took the elevator up to the Galleria, where we were greeted by a captivating lattice structure and mesmerizing cityscape views. You have to see the elevator journey to believe it – one word, unforgettable!
After a satisfying ascent, we treated ourselves at the Skytree Café 🍻 and even sent a few postcards from Tokyo’s highest post box!
Before we said goodbye to the Skytree, we explored the tower’s base, which was buzzing with fun activities and beautiful cherry blossoms 🌸 (we were lucky to catch the early bloomers).
We wrapped up our day with a scrumptious meal 🍛 at a local restaurant, with the illuminated Skytree creating a magical backdrop. Believe us when we say, Tokyo has a way of making ordinary moments feel extraordinary!

Many elderly people use this method of counting. 1=hi 2=fu 3=mi 4=yo 5=itsu 6=mu 7=na 8=ya 9=ko 10=to Ancient Japanese is still used by Shinto priests at shrines. The 634m of the Sky Tree expresses "6=mu 3=sa 4shi" MUSASHI =TOKYO by mixing ancient Japanese and modern readings. About 400 years ago, there was a sword master named "Miyamoto Musashi". This is also where his name comes from. To be precise, "MUSASHI no kuni" means TOKYO.
