This was probably the bravest thing I have felt like I’ve done yet lol. Visiting Owakudani was so cold, and there were many transportation transfers between my destinations. I had two goals: see Mt. Fuji and to go to an onsen (a must for Hakone!) I felt so lost, and the silence in nature is really so eerie. I still had lots of fun, and I would go to Hakone again, hopefully with guests 🙂

We have onsen in Colorado. You must be a city girl. Not comfortable alone in the countryside. I love it! The solitude is wonderful and I enjoy the silence.
