This video is for those interested in finding out what it’s like on board Singapore Airlines’ Boeing 737 MAX new Business Class. These seats are the latest products to join the Singapore Air fleet, having been introduced back in 2021 to replace the old SilkAir “recliner” style seats.

The 737 MAX marks a pivotal departure for Singapore Airlines, from an all-widebody airline, such as Emirates, to a mixed fleet of narrow and wide bodies. I believe this was meant to offer more operational flexibility to tailor to each individual market.

~ Flight Review ~
Date of Flight – October 2022
Airline – Singapore Airlines
Route – SIN-PEN
Flight – SQ134
Seat Type – Business

This flight was booked as part of a two-sector itinerary from Mumbai to Penang, with a stopover in Singapore (BOM-SIN-PEN). This used to cost 39,000 airline miles plus tax and a USD 100 stopover fee. The stopover fee allows you to defer your second flight leg by up to one year. Sadly, the stopover option has been discontinued and there has been a devaluation, so it will now cost 43,000 miles plus tax for the same route.

  1. 50 mins flight, really no point to fly business class. This has reflected on the view numbers. Waiting for your long haul flight review~
