Japan Travel Tip: Add your Suica / Pasmo card to your iPhone

Since the JR pass only works with one rail company, we still got a Suica/ Pasmo card to travel around Tokyo and Kyoto more quickly. You can add the card to your iPhone wallet just like adding a credit card.

You just tap your phone at the stations to go in and out so it’s super convenient. You also save time waiting for a ticket machine to recharge your card. Just recharge within your wallet but make sure to link a foreign transaction fee free credit card. FYI- I was only able to successfully connect it to a Mastercard, but not Visa.
