Bamboo village TAKEHARA – Temples, Sake & Classic Townscape Designs – LIVE walking tour with Joy

Takehara is a small town once famous for its salt, sake and trading port & now a quiet but charming town filled with preserved buildings, interesting temples, sake brewery, traditional crafts and design details to love as well as the story of the mother and father of Japanese whiskey.

  1. Strangest part of the tour in Takehara was NOT seeing the Dinosaur but seeing a young couple walking a MEERKAT! Really these animals belong in the wild not as domesticated pets away from their group, it seemed really stressed as well when I saw it later poor thing 18:30 dinosaur sighting was cute 24:50 was a meerkat in a ballet costume?
