富山県の福野では毎年5月1日･2日に、絢爛なあんどんが夜空に映える「福野夜高祭」が開かれます。
色鮮やかな大あんどんが大勢の見物客を魅了し、二日深夜には、あんどんを壊し合う「引き合い」が行われます。
慶安5年（西暦1652年）、伊勢神宮の御分霊を福野神明社の氏神に迎える際に日が暮れ、町の人々が手に行燈を持って出迎えたのが「福野夜高祭」の起源とされています。
The FUKUNO Yotaka festival, history of 350 years, was held on May 1 and 2nd in Toyama, Japan. On May 2nd midnight, when Parade floats meet each other in a narrow alley, they are permitted to jump on other floats and rip them to shreds. This event is the largest spectacle of the festival.
