This is the actual true story with all the problems and mistakes that I made when attempting to cycle the Shimanami Kaido which is Japan’s best coastal cycling scenery course, noted by CNN as one of the best cycling trips in the world. Part 1 was getting to the starting point at Onomichi, Hiroshima. and the preparation and planning the night before. Part II is the actual cycling of the Shimanami Kaido. Almost all of the Shimanami Kaido videos on YouTube show you only the success stories, the fun, and happy moments while cycling. But this video was made to share with you about what can happen. In addition, to help you plan better and manage your expectations more realistically, so you can have the best cycling trip possible.
