BUDDYMOON DAY 412/1000 (VLOG 113)

We have made it to Nepal, a place that we have always wanted to go to. As we have landed in Kathmandu, this is the first city that we wanted explore.

The Thamel area is a popular area in Kathmandu with many tourists flocking here before they begin a hike or a trek in the Himalayan mountains. This area is where our journey in Kathmandu began as we headed to Durbar Square to see and explore some of the history that the Kathmandu Valley has to offer.

One thing that was a must on our list when exploring Kathmandu, was to try some Momo, a very popular dish here in Nepal. So we had to give this a try!

We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone…" Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

    the crunchy thing in Laphing is also type of noodle. Those are fried noodles and we Nepalese are really proud of that food.

    All of Kathmandu valley can be considered a Durbar Square and the valley is full of temples and shrines everywhere….

    Hope you guys are enjoying Kathmandu..

    The Taleju Bhawani Temple is only open to the public once a year during the biggest Hindu festival in Nepal, Dashai( Sept-Oct). Non-Hindus are not allowed per se but I have seen many Buddhist, Christian, and Muslim Nepalese entering but not seen foreigners.

    Laphing is actually made of Potatoe, Mung bean or Wheat flour starch. But now in Kathmandu, it is made of white flour which is much easier to make and commercially cheaper. The texture is the same but the noodle taste is different but people in Kathmandu seem to love the laphing made out of flour πŸ˜‰

    I have a lot of western mates so I know a lil bit of taste of yours so try the momo with sauce (thick ahchaarr base) not the liquid base soup one hope its match to your tastes
