A nice way to start my Friday work day! Sara, we dont fly frequently, but have enough work trips that I like my lounge access- I dont have a CC w/Lounge access, so I subscribed to Priority Pass.
Kara and Nate (Competitor? Enemy? 🤷♀️) also have a video or two, along with a website, about how they(he) travel hack for their travels.
This was such a great interview! I'm nerding out on this as I approach the idea of early retirement and how to travel cheaply.
I'm in Nashville BNA right now as I watch this. I'll start doing these things so I can save money next time.
My retirement is 2 weeks from today. I've been researching the whole miles/points thing for some time now. I'm racking up points on AmE but haven't had the chance to use them yet. These first interviews on travel have been really good for me! Thank you!

Great convo! I’m about a year out from having bankruptcy drop off my record. Being cash-only for 10 years has been a great learning experience for sure, and I want to be super smart moving forward. Knowing there are options out there like Chase that would give me some flexibility and rewards without me going overboard with unnecessary credit is awesome!

We are going to Southern Italy this Fall & really wanted the airplane bed pods but they were SO expensive! I found that Delta offers a Premium Select which is seating with leg/foot rests. Not quite beds but more reclining than standard seats, for much less money. The other 2 airlines that I shopped didn’t offer anything comparable.
