The Great Wisteria at Ashikaga Flower Park, also known as “Miraculous Great Wisteria”, is over 160 years old, spreading over 10,000sqf(930sqm) trellis area and the white wisteria tunnel is 262ft(80m) long. It’s a beauty out of this world. Magically beautiful, elegant and breathtaking. The wonderful smell of wisteria flowers permeates all over the park.
CNN acclaimed the great wisteria as a fantastic spectacle, equal to that of Tree of Souls from the movie Avatar. It was also selected among the top 10 international dream tourist destinations in the world by CNN in 2014.
