Hey! Here’s the latest updates with Japan’s entry requirements:
Starting on April 29th, 2023, Japan will no longer require a COVID vaccination or negative test result to enter. For those flying directly from China, you will no longer be subject to random testing. If any entrants are symptomatic for COVID, you will be tested. Those with positive results will be required to quarantine at your expense, according to the Ministry of Health Labor and Welfare.
This new date is just in time for Japan’s Golden Week and is effective from 0:00 AM (JST), April 29, 2023 and supersedes the May 8th date, previously confirmed.
