I am a Japanese.
I think if foreign visitors want to enjoy All of Japan, he or she should visit to Japan for 47 prefectures X 12 months = 564 days !! (in minimum. because there are too many interesting spots in each prefectures.)
There are many seasonaly events per month. For example, Aoi matsuri in May in Kyoto, Snow festival in February in Sapporo, many Fireworks events in July to August in Tokyo, and other place and so on.
There are 452 museums in Japan.
There are 3000 thThere are 7000 over baseball fields in Japan. fields in Japan. (Included Professional fields , and small town baseball fields.)
My recommend to enjoy hidden (or unknown) jem are
– department store "Depa chika" grumet. There are nice Bento or sweets shops in underground floor or 1st floor in the famous department stores. Some of Bento or sweets shops were built 100-300 years ago.
– baseball games in Tokyo dome, Seibu dome and so on. You can enjoy baseball grumet and beer.
– see the Japanese musicals. There are Disney or broadway musicals and Japanese original musicals. Some of musicals are called "2.5 dimension musical". Those are based of Anime, Manga stories like "Prince of Tennis".
– interesting small museam like TOTO toilet museam, The railway museum, and so on.
– Beer factories or Wine factories. You can try to drink new fresh beer!!
