  1. Excellent video Janice. The Tai Pai Dong dishes looks super yummy…you are SO Lucky!!!

  2. Thank you so much for sharing, Janice! I will be going back to Hong Kong 🇭🇰 in June/July. Your sharing does really help my itinerary planning! ❤

  3. Must add that let's not call it Chinese Dai Pai Dong….it's literally only in Hong Kong that it is called Dai Pai Dong….which means big license stall in Cantonese….

A lot of Hong Kongers that I know dislike to be associated with "Chinese"……especially when it is related to their unique identity. Cheers. Doing a great job about introducing my second home Hong Kong to the world.

  4. Love your food videos, this one particularly! Wish we were eating buddies in Sydney!

  5. Janice: Thank you for sharing the Dai Pai Dong and all the places in Sham Shui Po! I sure will try the places when I am there!😊

  6. You’re making us hungry 😋 We miss HK street food! Look forward to your next vlog ☺️ btw it must have been nice to visit when it wasn’t crazily hot and humid!

  7. Hello 👋 Janice somewhere in the Hong Kong 🇭🇰 hope 🙏 tasty 😋 and so good smell with the Hong Kong 🇭🇰 food 😍👍💖💖💖

  8. Geez that looked so good. I could almost smell! Would love to try the rice rolls and the Wonton soup, the silky tofu, everything at Oi Man Sang 😋. It's a feast for the eyes.

  9. 🥴 wonton soup is meant to be made of flat fish powder (大地魚粉), did they not use it or you not taste it?? It'd help with video content to do more hw..

  10. I wanna visit the Dai Pain Dong place! I can taste the wok hei through the screen haha and that chicken wow. lol the bloopers at the end, I can relate 🤣

  11. Best for last you went to Ai Wensheng/Oi Man Sang 愛文生. As you say the best dai pai dong in H.K. The beef/potato is first deep fried. Then drained then fried/sauced in the wok. Love the egg/beef sandwich. Try a bowl of macaroni/beef tomato soup. Thanks really enjoyed this vlog.

  12. I am guessing that Janice may be going to another destination after Hong Kong, eg Japan or Taiwan etc

  13. Hong Kong has some really great food.. I really love the the last restaurant those dishes looks delicious.. I always love your description of the food and the history on the restaurants ..Your vlogs are amazing always Janice ..x❤️🥰❤️

  14. Your videos make me miss travelling. I really have to start back later this year. I love wandering down streets I've never seen before. Keep enjoying your journeys, and sharing with us.

  15. This made me miss HK so much! So many places to eat! Have you been to Tsim Chai Kee on Wellington St. next to the mid-levels escalator? It’s the absolute best.

  16. Hi Janice.
Always love watching your vlogs. When did you film?
I was there in early April and would been bummed if I walk straight passed you 😂
Keep the vlogs coming. I ❤ Hk

  17. thats pretty expensive for a dai pai dong isnt it? i mean thats the average price of a dish in a proper chinese restaurant in sydney. Dai pai dong is meant to be cheap and dirty isnt it.

  18. Oh my… I am heading to Hong Kong on Friday for a solo weekend trip and I thought I knew what I wanted to seek out and eat… then you show such awesomeness. After being blown away a few weeks ago with your Verace Pizzeria recommendation here in Sydney, I can't wait to try some of these specialties, especially the Wontons in soup. 😁

  19. Nice video and food. But I was wondering and thought HK food are more expensive compared to SG. Might be wrong
