GODBLESS
Holy cow, deer/dear David. OMG. How much more can you improve on these documentaries!!! I loved how you transitioned from one video to the next: so effortlessly. I am finally done with this one and then Suriname popped up and I still have Mexico next. Loved ALL the food, from the dumplings, baos, wontons (no red meat for me), to the noodles (I find the Shanghai noodles too thick and doughy. We get it here in Toronto from the mall eatery.) The way they put the soup inside the dumplings is that they make the broth, add gelatin, freeze it, cut it in cubes and then put one inside the dumpling along with the meat and when you heat it up, the cube melts et voila. The open-faced dumpling is called shu mai which I love. I noticed that you left one (was that one for me?) LoL. Anyway, I enjoyed this one with all the little nuggets of history you put into it. Huge, clean and very well kept and maintained city. Can't ask for more. To quote you, "one more thing", did you ever go to Hong Kong? Would be very interested to see how it is today since Britain handed it back to China. Anyway, I am trying to keep it short because 4 hours are a long time. Job well done. So now I am jetting off to Ciudad Mejico and then to the one you posted this morning. David, you are a beast, hahaha. Have a great weekend. Bless your sweet little heart. ššš¹š¹šØš¦
