I Can’t BELIEVE it Finally Happened?! (Van life Japan)

I can’t believe it finally happened this week..
I got to tick off one of my bucket list activities – To camper van around Mount Fuji!
It was the most insane road trip of a lifetime and we got to do it in this little Japanese micro K-camper / RV called Alen.

Setting off from Tokyo, we drove through some of Japan’s most incredible scenic routes, exploring the countryside, discovering some hidden gems along the way.

This week is all about navigating around mount fuji and living in a van in Yamanashi and Shizuoka ken (prefectures) of central Honshu, Japan. We’ve never experience van life like it!

We give you guys a full van tour and show you just how incredible road tripping is off the beaten track that we could have never seen without the camper.

We’ve left our trust converted bus in Norway and picked up a mini camper van in japan! You can’t beat the freedom of van life and we’re so excited to go on this Japan road trip 2023!

  1. This is what happened with us in Alaska. Stayed there throughout the summer, driving on every road we could. Went passed Denali 5x and not once was it clear enough to see it. 😢 Im so glad you guys lucked out❤

  2. Alen fuming 😂 Craig I love that you take pictures for people, I also love to do that! My main motivation is because in all those group shots, I'm never in them because I'm behind the camera, so I feel for those other camera-persons and I want them to have photos of themselves 🤩 ryow! Bucket list ✅ Brussels sprouts 💜

  3. How can you guys not have millions of subscribers! I think YouTube is blocking your content! I enjoy every episode so much… you are actual entertainers as well as informative.

  4. That wake up view must have been just mind blowing. I'm glad you got your bucket list ticked off on a beautiful clear day.
And your last comment, is Allen male or female? Why not both? Change the name to "Lilly Allen" 😅

  5. Took my mom to MtFuji in 2001(she was born in Tokyo). She passed away 4 years later- it was her last trip to her homeland- (she married my dad and moved to the USA in 1950). Thank you for bringing back the memories. Your hotel was amazing 🤩

  6. What a great video , your living the best life. I love your bloody banter. Love from South Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 xx

  7. I still haven’t got the “do what you love” thing fully worked out, but I can genuinely say that you two are a happy, safe and anxiety free little space in my life every Sunday. Thanks guys, you really do touch people with your humour and adventures 😘

  8. Another great video in the books. I recently lost a very close friend. She was Japanese American and Mt Fuji just brought back loving memories of her. In Becs famous words hug someone you love.

  9. You two make me the happiest on YouTube! You're generous, hilarious, loving, and exciting! I never had a desire to go to Japan and now I do, so that's on my bucket list! I've ticked off some things so far, hot air ballooning, traveling to Europe, competing in demolition driving derbies, more traveling, and more, but still more to do. In September I'll be traveling to Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helen's and the Cascades with my daughter. But you guys always give me inspiration! Just love your channel!

  10. @pantrydukaatje here once again after watching this episode. Brilliant and entertaining as always.
What's on my bucketlist is to be as free and happy can be in this sick society. That would include living in nature, away from people and live a bit more like nature intended.
That's all I wish for after living in a small confinement for almost two year now without ever leaving the place, apart from walking our fur baby in the night to avoid seeing other people.

  11. i just love watching you both so much-
My late grandparents were both Welsh from Swansea- their banter was exactly like yours
Just absolute hysteria and laughter all the time- with some good sarcastic Welsh arguments inbetween

Its nice to hear your accents and i imagine my grandparents were this cool when they were young x

  12. I wish I could have followed your advice about making your own rules. In Feb my husband was dx. with a grade IV Glioblastoma. If he gets stable enough, I hope to do what travel he can enjoy & tolerate while he's still with us. Keep up your inspiration!

  13. Totally excellent incredible how you come up with this so much you should be on TV superb entertaining

  14. Wow you guys, loving the content I will travel to Japan later in the year and I so fancy the camping around this area ❤❤❤❤ thanks for the map you guys

  15. Good clean fun with adventure, what more could you ask for? Amy has the most expressive eyes I've ever seen❤

  16. I absolutely love your videos. I even watch the "commercials". I never wanted to go to Japan, but now…maybe?

  17. I absolutely love your videos, they just make me smile and giggle, just brilliant and what a fantastic hotel you found, stunning views. Love the PJ’s at breakfast, especially when no one else was wearing them, classic 😂
