Yoshi from Japan finally made it to Chile! I met him in 2014 while we were riding in Japan and stayed with him for a week. Recently he started riding again on his Honda Africa Twin and went from Central Asia to Europe. There he put the motorcycle on a boat for transport in Hamburg, Germany. The motorcycle arrived a month later here in Valparaiso Chile. Over the course of a few days I went to meet him in Viña del Mar, sort out the bikes in Valparaiso, meet again and say goodbye after a ride. It was great to see a friendly face again from my early travels on motorcycle. Especially someone who rides around the world on motorcycle as much as he does. His Japanese Africa Twin is covered in stickers from all over the world. Beautiful old school XRV750, the big brother of the Honda Transalp. He is ready now to travel south america on motorcycle all the way up to Alaska in the United States with his girlfriend on her Honda XR250.

My name is Pedro Mota and I ride my trusty Honda Transalp motorcycle around the world. Me and Alp have been on the road now for over two years and have ridden through over thirty countries. This motorcycle adventure has taken us through Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, Russia, East Asia and Australia. Meet great people, see extraordinary places. Join me on this motorbike ride around the world and experience life on the road.
