A wonder of modern engineering, this is the Tama Monorail. Connecting western Tokyo’s underrated commuter towns, a day spent riding it encompasses the modern, the traditional, and the natural. In this video, we’ll explore the sights of the Tama Monorail, including visits to Japan’s cutest train station, a 1000-year-old temple, and suburban rivers, parks, and forests. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!

  1. Would you ride the Tama Monorail? What was your favorite part of the video? Let me know down below and thanks as always for watching!

  2. I hope you get your own travel show one day. Your filming, editing, and commentary are top notch! I love watching your videos!

Also, thanks for showing the suburbs! Everyone I've talked to has said that Japan doesn't have suburbs, just city and country. I always thought that was odd. Turns out Japan has some really lovely suburbs that's totally my vibe!
