The atomic bomb decimated the city, killing nearly all nearby the blast and injuring tens of thousands more.
However, Hiroshima and its population have completely rebounded since then, and has the city changed since those dark days. People now travel here & to the surrounding areas from all over Japan and the wider world. This is why…

  1. Seriously I have one question that I hope Matt will answer because I just can’t figure it out….being from the UL and everything like you are how in the world do you speak Russian so fluently I mean damn I’m from Los Angeles and I’ve been raised around Mexicans my whole life but I’m not fluent like you are so Please tell me how u do it?

  2. Welcome to Hiroshima, I remember I first visited there with my dad when I was 16 (almost 9years ago!). It still reminds me the heartbreaking historical moments in the bomb. As a native born in Hong Kong, it was very hard for us to imagine something this cruel that ever happened in the world history.

  3. Hi guys, great video and we are the people of our planet and this place is a good reminder what we do to each other. 🕊️🇯🇵👘🎎🎏🎐

  4. Ans the worst thing is that japan already surrendered
But the usa had to make this sick experiment on hiroshima and nagasaki

  5. Okonomiyaki is not a thing explicit to Hiroshima, but in other places they might not use noodles. My father is from Osaka and he makes one with lots and lots of bacon 🙂

  6. I am loving this Japan trip. Wow Hiroshima is lovely and picturesque despite it's awful tragedy it has evolved and recovered so beautifully. 8. That looks like something to put on the bucket list, Japan is fascinating from everything I’ve seen 👍👍👍

  9. This is what Putin like to do to Ukraine and Europe ! Hiroshima will happen again !

  10. I love the grilled oyster and after eating you can pour a little bit hot sake in the shell.
The combination of oysters‘s dashi and sake is just insane.
I learned it when I visited Miyajima and an old guy gave me his rest of hot sake!Try it!
Now I miss my university life I traveled a lot in and out of Japan🥲

  11. What a beautiful video! I am so impressed and also sad that the bombing happened 😢
