I drove to the south of Amami oshima from the north to stay in The SCENE. I heard that this hotel was really nice, but to me it was normal. The dinner course was amazing but I paid extra for that. Everything is white, so it looks clean…but it is not modern or something.

It's no wonder that they tell you that you can see the whales from the hotel for free after you've already paid!😏 As a father with daughters,I would advise you against going to sketchy places like the dark and creepy bath! I'm really glad you were ok after! It would probably have been better to stay in the first place you went to and just driven down to see the whales because it seemed nicer. There are a few spots to go whale watching Anna, where I’m from in Canada. It’s something else too, to see them come up beside the boat.
