Japan Luxury Hotel Tour & Experience of a Japanese Ryokan with a private onsen in the room. Taberu Oyado Hamanoyu located in the Izu area is perched right in front of the beach offering a serene atmosphere with the soothing sound of the ocean waves. It’s known for its exceptional dining experience, top level service and stylish guest rooms with private onsen baths so we knew we couldn’t go wrong here. While standard rooms are available at a rate of around 26,500 yen per person, we decided to go all in for their 160,000 yen 1200 dollar luxury suite with an in-room private onsen bath to see what it’s all about. Yes, we paid for this trip. If you are looking to travel to Japan or taking trip outside of Tokyo to experience Japan’s omotenashi hotel culture, then this hotel would be a great place to check out. So the room itself is quite spacious in Japan at 120 ㎡ (1300 ft²), which includes a Japanese style tatami room, living room with an ocean view, a bedroom with twin beds…and in-room private onsen. Japanese Ryokan hotels typically use local area ingredients and specialties in their food courses. So in this case, we were presented with an assortment of local seafood which we’re more than happy to enjoy.

  1. Another great video we are about to head out to Japan this week and going to a ryokan in the mountains of Osaka with its own similar private onsen

  2. Wolfy is soooo cute !!! Love how he enjoyed this trip ! And don't listen to negative comments – There are more people who appreciates you and think you are cool esp having such a beautiful family.

  3. I enjoy your videos soooo much and even more so that Wolfy is interacting more and just everything. I love your family! And I’ll pretty much watch anything you put out!! 10/10 content!! Much love from Oklahoma, USA!!

  4. I love watching how you travel with your family because it inspires me to travel with my toddler instead of dreading it.

  5. Random Places is nice, dont just do it for the Rich shitnitz. Do places that You are interested in ♥

  6. I like seeing the different types of ryokans/hotels. I also like seeing videos of your family, it helps me learn a lot about Japanese culture and your son is so cute!

  7. Really interesting. I love the amazing "room service". However, not as applicable as the "behind the counter" series which highlights places I want (and can afford) to go to. Sanuki Udon, Ichimi RinRin, Kakitagawa Hibari, and more.

  8. This was amazing!!! I could never afford to stay here so I very much appreciate you making these videos. Thank you so much!😊

  9. I think it would be great for you to cover a variety of places to stay at a variety of price points, perhaps with something of singular note for that location.

  10. Thank you for this! Would love to see more family friendly accommodations across Japan in different budgets 🙂 Planning to visit with our 3 year old son next year!

  11. I care less about what I have in my hotel room compared to the view out of the window I get. And the view in that one looks incredible! I actually had a similar view like that in a small fishing town called Mogimachi which is not far from Nagasaki and the room I had was a traditional Japanese style room. And I kept hitting my head off the roof lights as I guess I was quite tall for that room. But the view I had outside my window was amazing and it was facing the east coast so the sunrises were really nice. And the cost was a lot less than that hotel so more affordable! 😀

  12. That's such a nice hotel, this group may want to help develop in some detination locations throughout Asia. Investment in leisure will like be a derivative of investments made in paradise locations to transition to being comprised of green infrastructure. The private sector will invest in the infrastructure by making loans to people who can build it, those people will sell the water and supplement energy needs, and groups that own hospitality infrastructure like Ryokan will know that these investments are being made, that they are being made in a paradise location interested in increasing its tourism industry, those locations will likely want to give the hotel group an incentive to build the infrastructure and create the jobs for the local population, and the greater economy ought to be growing, so there ought to be plenty of people around the planet do well and looking to vacation to a paradise location.
My little cousin his age also love Paw Patrol, I've never seen it, but I buy him Paw Patrol gear all the time! That is exactly the way I would Onsen bathe! Looks like it is going to be a better Peter Pan version than I had, and Hook was good! A 9-5 with a two bedroom condominium, and to take excursions like this with your family once a quarter, probably way higher standard of living than spending all your money on owning more square feet. It's more practical for this group to expand its services to more locations around the world, than to have everyone try and fly to Japan to experience the Oyado resort experience. Depending on your work, but what I expect if for a well traveled middle income person to visit Japan three times for vacation and tourism their life. So, they will be able to appreciate an experience like this in Aspen. The experience in Aspen either gets them to go to Japan for the first time, or it is where they want to go when they are in Aspen because they haven't been to something like this since the last time they were in Japan. I know how I'm going to merge this experience with a similar spa like experience I experienced in Zurich in St. Moritz. I'm big on cultural fusion, and it is all about views! What's best is that you have the most authentic omotenashi hotel experience competeing against a fusion of Japanese and Swiss/German spa culture, and you don't criticize people for being intrested in omotenashi. Culture is plural, it is too share, there is no appropriation, it is you taking your share of the culture you belong to, the culture we belong to is global. We don't live isolated to develop isolated cultures from one another, we already are part of a global culture, can't help it!

  13. I'd say kids are the least worries they had to face in hospitality industry, especially in a high class hotel like that

  14. Not that Peroni is bad (I actually like it), but choosing that over a Pilsner Urquell? Really? REALLY??? XD XD XD

Great review by the way! And more reviews like this please (or even more expensive ones) 😛

  15. I love going to ryokan with onsen, i remembered tried going to Kyoto Yunohana Resort Suisen and the experience is magnificent. That being said, the recent Daimaru Besso case is quite scary…i didnt expect Japan, of all countries who pride itself in hygiene could have done such horrible thing (on high class establishment nonetheless)

  16. Thank you Paolo, Mieko, and Wolfy for sharing your family experiences. I love your videos Paolo. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  17. Holy crap… I'm hoping to end up in a place like that… after I die or something. xD
Doesn't it kinda look like paradise? Rakuen? Tegoku? Takamagahara? xD

  18. ❤ I think it would be wonderful to see you do hotels that will yield the best family experience for you guys!!!! I personally would love to see more family adventures!!!😊😊
