Trivia: This year’s cherry blossoms in Tokyo bloomed early but they were still in bloom when I left for Kyoto. The ones in the Kansai region (Kyoto, Osaka etc.) normally start blooming a week later but as you can see in this video, some of them lost blossoms already and they looked like they bloomed before Tokyo. It’s another sign of global warming, I guess…
