Pune dates back at least to 758 AD and became India’s political center during the Maratha Empire in the 17th and 18th centuries. It was also the heart of opposition against the British Raj in the 19th and 20th centuries.
In this documentary, I’m taking you to experience Pune’s rich history at Shaniwar Wada Fortress and the temples atop Parvati Hill. We’re also diving deep into some of the best Maharashtrian dishes on the planet, from massive thalis to masal puri to sponge dosas. Pune is a feast for all of your senses, and you’re about to see why. Let’s go to Pune, India!

  9. Great video! Nice seeing the foods, but also where you stay and attractions/historical landmarks there. I’m surprised to see American white bread served at meals in India.
