Shuri-jo reconstruction, Shuri Castle, Okinawa April 5, 2023

This visit was truly a sad occasion for me. After having experienced the splendor of Shuri Castle in prior years, it was painful to see that it no longer exists. But, it is on the come-back and by 2026 we’ll once again be able to enjoy the magnificence of the grand palace.
