Old clip of my Cessna 150 entering in to IMC conditions during a sudden ceiling drop. Figured I’d turn it in to a learning and discussion point here on the channel. No, I did not purposefully enter in to IMC conditions. Weather changed en route and this was before I had ADSB-In on board. Please do not try to enter in to clouds without a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and/or an IFR flight plan.

Kevin, you definitely got yourself out of that extremely dangerous situation with cool, calm, and finessed piloting skills. Did you have working heading and attitude indicators? Did you consider doing a shallow banked 180 turn back to VMC?
Were you in an area without ATC coverage?
