PALAWAN – Day 1 | SETIR | Philippines 2023

1st day in Palawan! We are spending 3 nights here in this gorgeous Maldives-inspired resort. SETIR has become the favourite vacation spot of a number of celebrities and influencers. This is part of my surprise to my parents. I think they had the best time here. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

As mentioned in the video, SETIR has its own charter airline and you can book a travel package, which includes roundtrip charter flights, land and boat transfers, accommodation in your chosen villa, one time spa voucher, one time dinner voucher, etc. Had I chosen this travel package, it would have cost me double than what I actually spent. For reference, the travel package for the sirakan villa for 4D3N is P77,300 (£1190) for adult and P32,600 (£500) for child.

Here is a rundown on my expenses:
Flights for 8 people (Philippine Airlines) – P40,000/£640
Land and Boat Transfer (P3100 for adult/P1550 for child) x 8 people – P23,250/£358
4D3N Duplex Villa – P60,225/£926.55
4D3N Sirakan Villa – P68,920/£1060.32
Extra Guest Charge of P8500 pp (max of 2 persons in 1 villa only) – P51k/£785

I booked the villas a little less than a year ago and they only had 2 sirakan villas left so I booked it straight away. The sirakan villas are the only ones with glass bottom floors and indoor jacuzzi. The duplex villa that I booked for my parents, auntie and siblings is equipped with parted rooms. I should’ve gotten them the two bedroom villa which can accommodate 6 people and it has a lounge area and kitchenette. I really thought I had gotten them that. Oh well, at least everybody enjoyed their experience in the resort.
